ABOUT
what is ECPMUN and why should I join?
An MUN conference is a student-led simulation of the United Nations sessions. First held in the 1920s, MUNs have been rising in popularity among the world’s student population ever since. The English College in Prague Model United Nations (ECPMUN) is proud to present our new conference in 2020, which will take place on the 26th July 2020. While ECPMUN in previous years took place in Prague, the historic heart of Europe, this year, it is taking place virtually due to the unique COVID-19 situation. Students from all around the world are invited to participate. Delegates and chairs learn about current political and economic issues through discussions and debates in the format of United Nations' procedures.
We welcome high school students from a variety of different cultures and backgrounds. This ensures that our conferences are diverse, intriguing and allow our delegates to make friends and network with people from all around the world. Our conference enables students to boost their CV's with experiences that look amazing to universities and bolster their chances with any future profession that requires public speaking, debate or negotiation skills. Importantly, we aim to make MUN an enjoyable and fun experience where you, your co-delegates and your supervisors learn and make amazing memories. Come join us and the world's youth in a team effort to change the world, one debate at a time.
Our ECPMUN team works very hard to ensure your time here is well spent and doing everything in its powers to make the ECPMUN conference as enjoyable for you as possible. In case you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us via e-mail at ecpmun@gmail.com
We cannot wait to see you there.
Sincerely,
Your ECPMUN team
